Dr. Julian Kamhieh-Milz (Co-Founder, General Manager, Business Development, Head of Research)

Julian completed his Diplom in Medical Biotechnology at the Technical University Berlin.  His PhD focused on molecular medicine and autoimmune disease. Julian is also affiliated with the Charité Universitätsmedizin since 2012, having his own research group, which focuses on various topics, such as SARS-CoV-2, NIPT, assay development, and circulating tumour cells. Not only is Julian the co-founder and general manager of DHS, he is responsible for business development and acquiring collaborative partners, nationally and internationally.

Dr. Sundrela Kamhieh-Milz (Clinical Studies and Finances Lead, Virologist) 

Sandra has a B. Sc. (Biomedical Science) with Honours and obtained her PhD in Virology from the University of Sydney in collaboration with the Robert-Koch-Institute in Berlin. She has extensive experience in performance evaluation studies, project management, study co-ordination, clinical diagnostics, academic editing and writing, and biomedical translations (German-English). Sandra was part of the AMBOSS editorial team for 6 years. At the DHS, Sandra manages clinical performance studies and projects, as well as the finances, and functions as PI.

Ms. Laura Herrmann, MSc. (Quality Management)

Laura has a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, which she obtained at the Beuth Hochschule in Berlin. She continued with her tertiary education, also obtaining her Master’s degree in Biotechnology. Laura is responsible for Quality Management, playing a primary role in applying for ISO15189 from the DAKKS.

Dr. med. Guido Heymann (Specialist in Laboratory & Transfusion Medicine, Consultant)

Guido is a physician specialised in laboratory and transfusion medicine. He has extensive experience in diagnostics and quality management. Guido played an essential role in the application for the ISO15189 and is responsible for the approval of diagnostic laboratory results.
